Maria Kurenova is a member of our Consumer Products and M&A and Divestitures practices. She is one of our global CP-M&A leads, helping drive engagement at the intersection of the two practices.

Since joining us in 2007, Maria has led a number of significant global integration and transformation efforts across consumer products and adjacent industries, with a focus on food and beverage. Her recent client engagements have involved post-merger integration management, operating model redesign, large transformations, and CP strategy development.

Her preeminent case work has included:

  • Supporting a ~$15B multi-national merger for a leading global CPG firm;
  • Leading a ~$5B integration and operating model redesign effort for a multi-national food player; and
  • Scoping, mobilizing, and leading the ~$1B+ value creation transformation program for a multinational snacking player, with an emphasis on operating model redesign.

Maria also completed a social impact consulting internship at our sister company, The Bridgespan Group, in 2011.

She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSBA in Finance and International Business, summa cum laude, from Georgetown University.

In her personal time, Maria enjoys spinning, travelling to new global destinations, and wine tasting in Napa. She is an avid sports fan, spending her weekends cheering on the Michigan football team and the Bills.
